Stuart is a civil engineering technologist with extensive experience in urban development, infrastructure design and construction management. Stuart has worked from grass roots levels in the civil engineering industry during which time he completed his Bachelor of Engineering Technology. Stuart then ventured into a project engineering and management role with several local civil contractors before returning to his current role with FortisEM. Working in such a variety of roles, gives Stuart a firm understanding of the issues faced not only by the design team, but the construction team as well. Due to the diverse nature of his experience, Stuart is able to provide senior guidance to the D&C team and develop cost effective and practical design solutions.
Stuart is an experienced civil engineering technologist and project manager, having experience in delivering infrastructure, earthworks, storm-water, subdivisions, commercial site and road network designs. Stuart has led a number of multidisciplinary design and construction teams to deliver complex civil works and infrastructure projects for his clients. His client service mentality is reinforced by an outstanding ability to engage with the full range of project stakeholders in a consultative and constructive manner.
